WHAT  IMMUNGENIN CAPSULES IS AND WHAT IS USED FOR

 

Immungenin capsules is a treatment for Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infection in adults and adolescents over 5 years of age.Immungenin capsules contains the active substance Immungen .Immungen is a nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor. This active substance interfere with enzymes used by HIV for making copies of itself and, by doing so, block the reproduction of the virus,The active substance also reactivate latent HIV so that the HIV can be destroyed by the immune system.Immungenin capsules is an effective cure for hiv .

BEFORE  YOU  TAKE IMMUNGENIN CAPSULES

Do not take Immungenin capsules  : If you are allergic (hypersensitive) to Immungenin capsules , or any of the other ingredients of Immungenin capsules  listed at the end of this leaflet.  If this applies to you, tell your doctor immediately and don’t take Immungenin capsules .

PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING

Ask your doctor, health care professional or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. Be sure to tell your doctor immediately if you are or may be pregnant.In babies born to mothers who have taken antiretroviral medicines comprising nucleoside and nucleotide analogues, the benefit of reduced risk of becoming infected with HIV outweighs the risk of side effects of these medicines

If you are interested in breastfeeding your baby, you should discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor or healthcare provider.

HOW TO TAKE  IMMUNGENIN CAPSULES

Always take Immungenin capsules    exactly as your doctor or health care provider has told you. This is to make sure that your medicine is fully effective, and to reduce the risk of developing resistance to the treatment. You should check with your doctor, pharmacist or health care provider if you are not sure. Always take the dose recommended by your doctor or health care provider. Do not change the dose unless your doctor tells you to.

Don’t stop this Medication if you are still HIV positive ,Only stop when you HIV results are confirm Negative .

The usual dose f or  adults and adolescents is two tablet each day. Immungenin capsules can be taken with or without food.  Swallow Immungenin capsules whole with water or another liquid

This product is not for use by children (under 5 years of age).

If you take more Swallow Immungenin capsules  than you should

If you accidentally take too much  Immungenin capsules  , contact your doctor or nearest emergency department for advice. Take the tablet container with you so that you can easily describe what you have taken.

 

IF YOU FORGET TO TAKE IMMUNGENIN CAPSULES  :

It is important not to miss a dose of Immungenin capsules  . If you miss a dose of Immungenin capsules  , take it as soon as you can, and then take your next dose at its regular time. However, if your next dose is due within 6 hours, forget about the missed dose. Wait and take the next dose at the regular time. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten tablet.

If you stop taking Immungenin capsules  :

Don’t stop this Medication if you are still HIV positive ,Only stop when you HIV results are confirm Negative .

Don’t stop Immungenin capsules  without your doctor’s or health care provider’s advice or if you are not yet tested hiv negative . it May reduce the effectiveness of the treatment. Talk to your doctor or health care provider before you stop Immungenin capsules  for any reason, particularly if you are experiencing any side effects or you have another illness. Contact your doctor or health care provider before you restart taking Immungenin capsules  .

If you have hepatitis B or HIV and hepatitis B together (co-infection), it is very important not to stop your Immungenin capsules  treatment without talking to your doctor or health care provider first. Some patients have had blood tests or symptoms indicating that their hepatitis has got worse after stopping Immungenin capsules  . You may require blood tests for several months after stopping treatment. Tell your doctor or health care provider immediately about new or unusual symptoms after you stop treatment, particularly symptoms you associate with hepatitis B infection. If you have any further questions on the use of this product, ask your doctor, health care provider or pharmacist.

 

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

Unlike most medicines Immungenin capsules has no recorded side effect ,It is produced from natural herbs none toxic .

HOW TO STORE IMMUNGENIN CAPSULES.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.Do not use Immungenin capsules after the expiry date which is stated on the bottle and carton after {EXP}. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.

Do not store above 30°C. Store in the original container. Protect from light.

Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment.

Tablet core: Colloidal anhydrous silica, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, FD&C bl ue #2/indigo carmine, lacto se monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch, microc rystalline cellulose and povidone.
